Toddler Outdoor Photos
It was a beautiful day when I took these pictures of my little one. He had fun at the park, walking in the sand barefooted. He just loved it! I had my camera with me because I was taking some photos around the park as well, and decided to take some shots for my little one which is really challenging me because every time I take his photo it always doesn't come out good. He will never stop moving around.
Few minutes before going home, I got tired of taking his pictures which were all blurred and I was ready to go home when I saw him sitting on the mary-go-round at the park. He must be tired...(he should be tired) all that running around in the sun. I quickly took some couple shots of him which I love. The results are not perfect but I love them. Just couple of shots because after that he was ready again to play. So, these are the photos I luckily captured.

Taking A Day Off
Few days ago, I asked my hubby to go with me driving around the country of West Monroe, Louisiana to shoot some interesting sceneries, it wasn't a good day to shoot because it was sprinkling on and off. But sometimes, as a photographer I do take risk and look what we found, It's a crane in the field.

when I saw this one, I already love it. The crane and the field as the backdrop is beautiful! With a little bit of color adjustments to make the color popped, I got what the result I was really looking for.
Still looking forward to shoot more out in the country in a few days in times like this-golden hour.

Honey Roasted Peanut - Using Natural Light
It was such a pretty day today and while I was drinking my coffee I was distracted by light that came inside through my kitchen window and then this idea came to my head. I think you know what idea I'm talking about. So, I checked out my kitchen counter and the first thing I saw is the Honey roasted peanut jar. So, I decided to give it a try since it's my day off today, I don't have to worry about getting late. But still no escape from my youngest son who is two-year-old, who was sneaking around the table and waiting for me to turn around so he could grab some of the peanuts and eat them. That's so cute of him.
Using natural light is new for me. And I'm still learning, and willing to learn more tips and tricks to get a better result. I'm a self-though photographer so when I have time I do a lot of research online and it helps.

Toddler Portrait in Black and White
This is my second child, Phillip. I took him outside to play while his older brother is with his daddy gone to the store. He's unstoppable, he just keep walking around the house and I was a little tired following him. I decided to seat under the maple tree in our backyard and just play with my camera settings, and when I checked him again this is what I see right here in the picture. He finally rest, thank God!
I quickly took a picture of him resting outside our back shed. My poor baby he is so sweaty. Those little legs don't give up so quick.

Why Dragonflies Point Their Tails Straight Up?
As you can see in two of these images above the dragonflies tails are pointing straight up. You're asking "Why dragonfly do that"? The answer is that it's not just a tail, it's their abdomen. Dragonfly breathe through their abdomen. By pointing their tail straight up is their way to reduce the exposure of their abdomen to the sun. If you notice that sometimes they have a cooler looking abdomen, that means cooler air drawn in. If it looks warmer meaning warmer air drawn in.

Ermita Manila Philippines
| CITYLAND building |
I didn't have a chance to know the name of this building because my two little boys were getting tired of walking around, and I can't stand all the noise from vehicles around.....it's way to much! I"m planning to go back in 2015 and I"m gonna prepare all that, thinking to make a list of places I wanna go to. It would be very exciting!

Showy Tiger
The weather was so nice yesterday and I can't stop thinking about going to the zoo with my hubby. At 1:00 in the afternoon me, my hubby and our eldest son went to Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo which only takes few minutes drive.
What I'm going to share with you here right now are the pictures of the tiger that was showing off to people. He was playing on the water which kind of scary. He was literally trying to jumped out from the water which makes some people around screamed. I think he was hungry!

OLD STUFF
| Photograph of some old stuff
I just feel like shooting for black and white image today just when I saw grandpa's stuff behind their house. I'm very attracted to these old stuff here especially this old wheel barrow. I like the way they were arranged. I didn't arranged them.
As a photographer, all I can say is that even old stuff can still be useful in a different way. There are so many ways a photographer can do with old stuff around. So many things a photographer can see that others don't. I'm glad I have this passion.

Blueberries at grandma's backyard are pretty tempting. I love blueberries. I made blueberry smoothie sometimes and it's good. Blueberry is antioxidant and anti-aging fruit.
Grandma loves to pick blueberries and brought them to me. I love her! But today, it's too hot for her to go outside so me and my husband decided to pick some and take pictures of the blueberries on the branch.
