Toddler Outdoor Photos

It was a beautiful day when I took these pictures of my little one. He had fun at the park, walking in the sand barefooted. He just loved it! I had my camera with me because I was taking some photos around the park as well, and decided to take some shots for my little one which is really challenging me because every time I take his photo it always doesn't come out good. He will never stop moving around.
Few minutes before going home, I got tired of taking his pictures which were all blurred and I was ready to go home when I saw him sitting on the mary-go-round at the park. He must be tired...(he should be tired) all that running around in the sun. I quickly took some couple shots of him which I love. The results are not perfect but I love them. Just couple of shots because after that he was ready again to play. So, these are the photos I luckily captured.

Resting for a little bit

Taking A Day Off

Few days ago, I asked my hubby to go with me driving around the country of West Monroe, Louisiana to shoot some interesting sceneries, it wasn't a good day to shoot because it was sprinkling on and off. But sometimes, as a photographer I do take risk and look what we  found, It's a crane in the field.

when I saw this one, I already love it. The crane and the field as the backdrop is beautiful! With a little bit of color adjustments to make the color popped, I got what the result I was really looking for.
Still looking forward to shoot more out in the country in a few days in times like this-golden hour.

Showy Tiger

The weather was so nice yesterday and I can't stop thinking about going to the zoo with my hubby. At 1:00 in the afternoon me, my hubby and our eldest son went to Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo which only takes few minutes drive.
What I'm going to share with you here right now are the pictures of the tiger that was showing off to people. He was playing on the water which kind of scary. He was literally trying to jumped out from the water which makes some people around screamed. I think he was hungry!

Old Train Bridge and Tracks

This old train bridge actually connects West Monroe and Monroe also known as "Twin Cities".  Actually, when I was here taking shots of this place I wasn't alone, there was another photographer too. This bridge connects the Twin Cities over Ouachita River (wah-shi-tah) - a 548-mile-long (882 km) river that runs south and east through the U.S. states of Arkansas and Louisiana, joining the Tensas River to form the Black River near Jonesville, Louisiana.

Louisiana Cypress Swamps

Cypress swamps are found in the southern United States. The wood from cypress is resistant to rot, resistant to insects and was a popular wood for building.
Cypress swamp in Cheniere Lake, Louisiana spring time.

There are some other trees and shrubs that can be found in cypress swamps like wax myrtle, buttonwood, blackgum, pond cypress, and red maple.
Cypress trees are very impressive objects and they have a very graceful structure. Cypress wood is beautiful, and it's a good thing in the humid Louisiana environment.
